About Me

Introduction

I am Dušan Todorović, based in Belgrade, Serbia, and I build products that prioritize clarity, speed, and accessibility.

My past work includes shipping products in the iGaming industry, and at Constructor Tech I work on AI-powered product experiences across learning, assessment, and workforce-oriented use cases. I care about reliable delivery, strong collaboration, and making software feel effortless for users.

Musical Background

Before tech, music was a major part of my life. I grew up in a family of musicians, played accordion from a young age, and later performed and taught music for years.

That period gave me discipline, consistency, and comfort working in high-pressure environments, which still helps in engineering work today.

Transition to Programming

During college, a web design class introduced me to code and I quickly realized this was the work I wanted to pursue long-term.

I studied through hands-on projects, documentation, and online courses, then moved into my first frontend role with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as the foundation.

Early Career

My early years were shaped by self-driven projects and consistent practice. I designed ideas, implemented them, and shipped them to learn faster from real constraints.

That routine built strong habits around maintainable code, product thinking, and ownership across delivery.

Leading

As my engineering scope grew, I moved into lead responsibilities and found that I enjoy both systems work and people development.

Today I focus on building strong frontend foundations, mentoring engineers, and helping teams deliver with quality and consistency.

Interests

Outside of work, I still value creative routines and steady learning. I enjoy films and TV shows, and I spend most of my extra energy on side-projects and experimentation.

I also like traveling on my own, and Thailand is one of my favorite places to recharge and get perspective. I recently passed my motorcycle test too, so I am hoping to get my first motorcycle soon.

I am also a dog person, and daily time with my dog Lilly is one of the best resets after a focused workday.
